Gentlemen, I want everyone to know that you being a member of our camp have every right to participate in any events related to the SCV. For those of you who live in distant land, I want you to try and make every effort to attend one or both the Conventions coming up.
For those of you who have never been to a convention, you should really consider attending. The conventions consist of voting for Officers and amendments which affects the future of our organization. You get to meet members from various parts of the country. They usually have good speakers and food. The host camp has wonderful music to provide entertainment for everyone.
This year, the Nat'l Convention will be in Hot Springs, Ark which is within driving distance of Texas. If anyone who desires to go and needs assistance with transportation and lodging, please contact me and we can arrange something. I promise you, once you attend a National Convention, you will not want to miss another one.
